"Nautiraid boats are simple to assemble and take apart. No tools are necessary. The number of parts to be assembled (15 for a two-seat kayak and 6 for a wooden single-seater) has been limited deliberately, to keep the operations simple."
- For the single-seat models, with a smaller cockpit than the two-seat models, the framework is assembled outside the skin, then inserted through the aft deck, which opens and closes with a zip fastener.
Once inside, the framework is tensioned with a patented system. This is the case for all models with an aluminium framework.
- For the two-seat wooden models, the forward and aft parts of the framework are inserted into the skin through the long cockpit opening, then joined and tensioned with a lever in the centre of the cockpit.
